Bahrain Travel Fair (BTF) respects your privacy. This policy explains how personal information is collected and used through bahraintravelfair.com, including buyer applications, exhibitor enquiries, newsletter subscriptions and direct correspondence.

Information we collect

When you apply as a buyer or send an exhibitor enquiry, we collect your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country, company, job title and business details. Depending on the form, this may include your website, industry, markets of interest, participation requirements and any message you choose to provide. Required fields are marked; without them, we may be unable to assess your application or respond to your enquiry.

Newsletter signup is optional and collects your email address. If you contact us directly, we also receive the information in your message. Please do not include payment details, passport copies or other sensitive information in website forms.

How we use your information

We use application and enquiry information to assess participation, answer questions, discuss exhibiting arrangements and communicate about Bahrain Travel Fair. Applications are reviewed by the BTF team; submitting a form does not confirm participation. We also use technical information to maintain the website, prevent spam and protect its security.

We process information with your consent, to take steps you request in connection with participation, and where necessary for legitimate operational interests or legal obligations, subject to your rights under Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law.

Event updates and your choices

If you choose to subscribe, we use your email address to send BTF event news and exhibitor updates. Applying as a buyer or submitting an exhibitor enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.

You may withdraw your newsletter consent at any time by contacting us. Marketing emails will provide a way to unsubscribe. Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent us from responding to an enquiry or sending necessary messages about an application you have submitted.

Who can access your information

Form submissions are stored in the website’s WordPress database and are accessible to authorised administrators. The BTF team may receive submission notifications by email. Hosting, website maintenance and email service providers may process information as needed to support these services.

We do not sell your personal information or provide your contact details to other buyers or exhibitors for their marketing without your permission. Information may be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.

Cookies and external services

Essential cookies and technical records support website security, administration, requested forms and remembering your privacy choices. Technical records may include your IP address, browser details, pages requested and access times.

Our cookie banner lets you accept, reject or choose optional event-update services. OneSignal web push and Hostinger Reach scripts are blocked until you permit the Event updates category. Use the controls below to change or withdraw this permission. Your choice is saved automatically. Rejecting optional services does not prevent you from browsing, registering or sending an exhibitor enquiry.
